Terms of Service
Perissos Limited
Last updated: 26 August 2026
These terms govern your use of perissos.ai and the Perissos application. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. The service is provided for business use. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
1. Who we are
Perissos Limited is a private company limited by shares, registered in Ireland under company number 822725, with its registered office at 31 Danesfort, Ballincrokig, Whites Cross, Cork, T23 DC7K, Ireland.
You can reach us at reports@perissos.ai.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Perissos" mean Perissos Limited. "You" means the person or company using the service.
2. What the service is
Perissos reads the records your workspace holds and tells you, requirement by requirement, whether those records answer an obligation, and which records each answer rests on. It covers the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 27001, and it cites the specific provision behind every judgement.
Where you connect a system such as a cloud account or a code host, Perissos collects read-only facts from it, seals them, and may use them as evidence against a requirement you have decided applies to you.
3. What the service is not
This section matters more than any other, and we would rather state it plainly than bury it.
Perissos does not provide legal advice. Nothing the product outputs is advice on which you should rely without your own professional judgement. Compliance obligations depend on facts about your organisation and your systems that we do not hold and cannot see.
Perissos does not certify anything. We are not a certification body, a notified body, or an accredited auditor. A result in Perissos is not certification, conformity, or an assurance that any authority or auditor will reach the same conclusion.
Perissos does not produce a compliance score. We do not rate you. Every requirement is answered individually, or declined with a stated reason.
Perissos judges records, not reality. When we say a requirement is met, we mean the records you hold answer it, and we name those records. We do not verify that those records are accurate, that the activity they describe actually happened, or that it happened as described. When we cannot judge something, we say so and say why, and you should read that as a limit on what we can see rather than a finding about you.
You remain responsible for your own compliance. Using Perissos does not transfer any legal obligation to us.
4. Accounts and workspaces
You need an account to use the paid features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything done under your account.
A workspace holds your records, decisions and evidence. A workspace can have more than one member. The workspace owner controls membership, can export the workspace, and can delete it. Members can see and work on the workspace's records.
5. Plans and pricing
Current published plans and prices are on perissos.ai/pricing. Prices are stated exclusive of VAT; any tax due is shown at checkout before you pay.
We make two commitments about pricing:
- When our measured costs of serving the product fall, our published prices fall, and the pricing page carries the date of the last reduction.
- Our published prices will remain at least 30 per cent below comparable offers from the leading compliance platforms.
For enterprise arrangements, we will price at least 30 per cent below a comparable written quote you provide, for the same or better capability at matched scope. We may decline to treat a quote as comparable where the scope differs materially, and we will say why.
6. Billing, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are billed as follows. Your first two months are billed monthly. At the end of the second month, a twelve month term begins and is billed accordingly, unless you cancel before it starts.
We commit to the following, and you should hold us to them:
- The date the twelve month term begins and the amount that will be charged are shown to you before you pay, and again on your billing page.
- We will send you a reminder before your second month ends, in time to cancel.
- Cancellation is a single action inside the application. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to give a reason.
If you cancel, you keep paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund unused time on a term that has begun, except where the law requires it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. For eligible transactions Stripe acts as merchant of record, which means Stripe is the seller of record for the payment, calculates and adds any applicable VAT or similar tax at checkout based on where you are, shows you the total before you pay, and remits that tax to the relevant authority.
Usage above your plan's included allowance is charged at the published per-unit rate.
7. Connectors and credentials
Where you connect a third-party system, you authorise us to read from it on your behalf, using the access you grant.
- We ask for read-only access and nothing wider than the checks we run require.
- We tell you, on the connector page, exactly what permissions we ask for and why.
- We never write to your connected systems.
- You can disconnect at any time, and disconnecting deletes the stored credential.
You are responsible for having authority to connect any system you connect, and for the access you grant us being permitted under your own policies.
Facts we collect from a connected system are sealed when stored, meaning we record a cryptographic seal so that any later change to the stored bytes is detectable.
8. Your content
Your records, decisions, uploaded files and connector snapshots are yours. We do not claim ownership of them.
We process them to provide the service to you. Some processing uses Anthropic's API, as described in our privacy policy. Under the commercial terms that govern our use of that API, Anthropic may not train models on the content we send, and we have confirmed that no setting on our account changes that. Your uploaded evidence files are never sent to Anthropic.
We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how the service is used to operate and improve it, in a form that does not identify you or your content.
9. Publishing and sharing
Some features publish deliberately, such as a public trust profile or an evidence pack shared with a named reviewer. Publishing is always your action. We do not publish anything about your workspace without you choosing to.
Where you share a pack with a reviewer, access is time-limited and expires. We log when a shared pack is opened and retrieved, and that log is visible to you.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to attempt to gain access to another workspace's data, to probe or attack our infrastructure, or to resell the service without our written agreement.
You agree not to present output from Perissos as certification, accreditation, or legal advice, or to represent that Perissos has audited or approved your organisation.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the service available and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you, and you may cancel and receive a pro rata refund for the unused portion of the term.
12. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings. We are not liable for any regulatory finding, penalty, or audit outcome affecting you, because the obligation is yours and the judgement about your compliance is not ours.
Our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Term, termination and your data
These terms apply for as long as you use the service.
You may stop using the service at any time. You can export your entire workspace at any time, on every plan, including after you cancel: one file containing every record and every evidence file, sealed, with an offline verification script that works without us. You can delete your account and workspace at any time from your account page; deletion is immediate, happens in one transaction, and cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it. The current version is always at perissos.ai/terms, with the date it was last updated.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are entitled to consumer protections in your country of residence, nothing in these terms takes those away.
